Brage Sæbø began playing the violin at the age of four with Susanne Helgeland at the Haugesund Cultural School. While attending school in Haugesund, he commuted to Bergen from the age of 10 to have lessons with Per Gisle Haagenrud. He studied with Haagenrud for eight years, of which the last two years he was a student at Bergen Private Gymnas. In 2014, he started his bachelor at The Norwegian Academy of Music with Professor Peter Herresthal as teacher.

Brage is an active chamber musician, a member of the Ergo String Quartet, and often performs in an orchestra. He was a member of the Bergen Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (formally Youth Symphony) from 2010 until 2018. Here, he was also group leader and concert master, as well as a soloist on several occasions. In addition to his studies, he freelances in the major Norwegian symphony orchestras, as well as performs in concerts — both solo and as a chamber musician. Brage is now studying a Master in performing classical music at the Norwegian Academy of Music with Professor Herresthal.
